Spoon returned to Toronto in September 2002 headlining at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern. John Vanderslice opened, and it was nice to see him, as I've enjoyed his Tiny Telephone site as a source of discovering new music (lots of free MP3s!). Spoon played a great show consisting mostly of material from their new CD, Kill The Moonlight. They played to a large and enthusiastic crowd, such a far cry from their first time here in 1998. I'm so glad to see my favourite band getting the credit they deserve. Onward and Upward!
